* The State Securities Commission of Vietnam (SSC) has recently announced receiving fully dossier from Saigon Securities Inc (SSI) to offer additional shares under the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

* Hochiminh Stock Exchange (STC) announced that TIen Phong Technology Joint Stock Co would officially list over 11 million shares on the southern bourse, starting from December 20, 2011 under the share code of ITD.

* Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) on December 16 asked Orient Securities Joint Stock Co (HNX-listed ORS) to explain about hitting floor price for 10 consecutive trading sessions.

* Vietnam Securities Depository Centre (VSD) announced the registration deadline to close the shareholders list of Gas Petrolimex Joint Stock Co (coded PGS) for paying 2010 dividend - the second round.

* Ninh Hoa Sugar Joint Stock Co (coded NHS) has lately registered for selling 5 million shares of Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (coded STB).

* Vietnam Securities Depository Centre (VSD) has lately announced that Cavico Construction Manpower & Services Joint Stock Co (coded CMS) would close the shareholders list for advancing first round dividend in cash to existing shareholders.

* Van Phung Ha, chair of management board in Vinh Phuc Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Co (coded IDV) announced lately that the company would advance second round dividend for existing shareholders at 10 percent ratio within this month. With positive business results in 2011, the company ensured to pay full dividend of 23 percent as planned previously.

* The UPCoM-listed Sugar and Sugarcane 333 Joint Stock Co (coded S33) has lately received the certificate for offering shares to public from State Securities Commission (SSC). Accordingly, S33 would offer additional 4 million shares to existing shareholders at price of 10,000 dong per share, bringing total share value of 43.641 billion dong.

* Licogi 13 Joint Stock Co (coded LIG) announced that December 30 would be the registration deadline to close the shareholders list for advancing first round dividend in cash at 10 percent. The ex-dividend session would be December 28, 2011.

* In order to prepare for listing shares on Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), Lam Thao fertilizer and Chemical Joint Stock Co (Lafchemco) has lately announced to close the shareholders list for depositing shares at Vietnam Securities Depository Centre (VSD) on December 20, 2011.

* Quang Ngai Sugar Joint Stock Co (Quasuco) planned to set December 20 as the registration deadline to close the shareholders list for paying 2011 dividend - the second round.

* Kim Eng Vietnam Securities Co has signed an agreement with Dong Duong Securities Co to take over all customers of the latter.

* Khanh Hoi Import Export Co (KHA) has announced December 23 as the ex-dividend date to advance 2011 second round dividend in cash for shareholders at 5 percent.

* PetroVietnam Drilling and Well Services Co (PVD) will buy back over 826,000 shares as treasury shares within three months from December 21.

* Ha Do Group (HDG) has announced December 23 as the ex-dividend date for shareholders to receive 2011 first round dividend in cash at 10 percent.

* Tan Cang Logistics and Stevedoring Co (TCL) has been allowed to trade 2.2 million more shares on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange while Vietnam Export Import Commercial Bank (EIB) has decided to float an additional 179 million shares on the bourse.

* DongA Securities Investment Fund Management Co has offloaded 650,000 shares of Phu Nhuan jewelery Co (PNJ).

* Da Nang Education Development and Investment Co (DAD) has announced December 20 as the ex-dividend date to pay 2011 second round dividend in cash for shareholders at 8 percent.

* TNG Investment and Trading Co (TNG) has announced December 26 as the ex-dividend date to advance 2011 first round dividend in cash for shareholders at 10 percent.

* Vietnam Fumigation Joint Stock Co (VFG) has recently announced the establishment of its subsidiary namely Trong Tin LA one-member Ltd Co.

* Construction Joint Stock Co No 11 (V11)'s shareholders have recently agreed to reduce this year's business plan whereby the company's total output will decrease from 374 billion dong to 180 billion dong, down 52 percent from the previous plan and its revenue will also decreased over 244 billion dong (61 percent) to 156 billion dong.

* The management board of ACC-244 Joint Stock Co has lately approved the 2012 business plan with targeted revenue of 258 billion dong, pre-tax profit of 10 billion dong and dividend payment of 15 percent.

* Vietnam Securities Depository Centre (VSD) announced to close the shareholders list of PetroVietnam Joint Stock Financial Corp (coded PVF) for seeking shareholders' opinions in adjusting the 2011 business plan.

* Le Van Diep, vice general director of Minh Phu Seafood Group Joint Stock Co (coded MPC) announced lately that up to the end of 2011, MPC has exported 24,900 tonnes of frozen shrimp, bringing in total export turnover of 129.8 million, increasing by 19.72 percent in volume and 36.68 percent in value in comparison to the same period last year.

* The Construction Corp No 1, under ministry of construction, officially inaugurated and put into operation the four-turbine Dak R'tih hydropower plant in H.Dak commune, R'Lap Dist, Gia Nghia Town, Dak Nong province on December 16, 2011. The hydropower has designed capacity of 144MW, with expected production output of over 600 million KWh per year.

* Tien Phong Technology Joint Stock Co (coded ITD) would officially list shares on Hochiminh Stock Exchange (STC) from December 20.

* Vietnam Industry and Construction Group (Song Da Group) held the meeting on December 15 to discuss about restructuring plan, in which the group has proposed detailed steps of restructuring the enterprise within the 2011-2015 period.

* The management board of Hoa Binh Real Estate Joint Stock Co (coded HBC) has approved the 2011 business results with total revenue of 3 trillion dong and after tax profit of 130 billion dong.

* Ngo Ngoc Thanh, chair of management board in Rang Dong Light Source and Vacuum Flask Joint Stock Co (coded RAL) announced that in 2011, the company expected to reach whole year revenue of 1.85 trillion dong, and profit of over 70 billion dong, exceeding 20 percent against the targeted year plan. The company planned to pay dividend at 30 percent in cash.

* Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, representative of vicem But Son Cement Joint Stock Co (coded BTS) announced that up to December 16, 2011, the company has fulfilled the 2011 targeted production plan with 2.45 million tonnes of clinker.

* Ministry of Transportation yesterday officially kicked off construction works on Vinh Thinh Bridge, the longest bridge across Red River so far.

* Ministry of Industry and Trade has said that by 2015, Vietnam will complete 3-5 petrochemical plants with total capacity of 26-32 million tones per year.

* SohoVietnam Real Estate Exchange officially offered the apartments in Thang Long Garden project sited in Minh Khai St, Hai Ba Trung Dist, Hanoi at price of 23 million dong per square metre.

* Japan's Fujitsu and Petrosetco Distribution Co(PSD) have introduced a 13.3-inch laptop weighing 1.22 kilogram. The LIFEBOOK SH771 laptop has the USB Anytime Charging function which allows users to charge their cell phones, MP3 players and other equipment without turning on the laptop. The suggested retail price is around 38 million dong.

* Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) and Military Telecommunications Group (Viettel) have been asked to build transceiver stations in 12 mountainous communes of Quang Nam Province.

* Mai Linh Corporation has not been allowed to carry out a project of setting up a motorised kite club in Hon Mot, Khanh Hoa Province as the project might affect Hon Chong tourist site nearby.

* South Korea's Asiana Airlines on Wednesday opened a direct flight from Seoul to Da Nang City with two flights a week on Wednesday and Saturdays.

* Savico Hanoi Corp inaugurated Savico Megamall Commercial centre located on Nguyen Van Linh Street in Hanoi. The centre, consisting of one basement and three floors, has 85 percent of its space filled by retailers.

* Ocean Commercial Joint Stock Bank (OceanBank) has recently been ranked in the Top 500 Asia Pacific Largest Banks and Top 100 banks with Asia Pacific's Strongest Balance Sheet by the leading financial magazine The Asian Banker.

* Vietnam Prosperity Commercial Joint Stock Bank (VPBank) has recently launched an online saving product via internet, applicable for all individual customers using payment saving service and the bank's internet banking service (i2b).

* The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) on December 16 issued document allowing the chartered capital increase of three banks namely HCM City Housing Development Commercial Bank (HDBank), Eastern Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (EAB) and Southern Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SouthernBank).

* Vietnam Commercial Joint Stock Bank of Industry and Trade (VietinBank-CTG) has recently decided to establish VietinBank Global Money Transfer one-member Ltd Co as from December 16, 2011.

* Vietnam Commercial Joint Stock Bank of Industry and Trade (VietinBank-CTG) has recently decided to open its branch in Laos whereby the VietinBank's Laos branch will be located at No 29, KhounBounlom street, Vatchan ward, Chanthabouly district, Vientiane city, Laos.

* Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB) has recently announced the resolution of the director board about advancing the first phase dividend of 2011 in cash at 20 percent, equaling to 2,000 dong per share.

* Military Commercial Bank has gained central bank approval to open branches in Long An and Kien Giang provinces.

* The central bank has allowed the HCM City branch of BNP Paribas Bank to revise up its chartered capital to $75 million.

* Asia Commercial Bank yesterday inaugurated an Enterprise Module Datacenter at Quang Trung Software City in HCM City's District 12. The new facility worth nearly $2 million meets international standards.
